Position Overview:
Hire Priority is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance of all facilities located within a specific apartment housing community, as well as providing occasional coverage at other apartment sites when needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in apartment maintenance with a strong background in carpentry and/or building upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regular on-site maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and other necessary tasks.
- Receive and complete work orders; gather all necessary tools, equipment, & supplies needed for repairs.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned and assist Service Supervisor as needed.
- Check lighting and plumbing fixtures; minor repairs and replacements, as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures outlined by the community and company policies.
- Keep a positive and professional environment for all members and guests of the apartment community.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures outlined in the safety policy manual and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of apartment industry experience, or general maintenance experience
- Experience in painting, plumbing, basic electric, drywall, small appliance repair, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with and without supervision.
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
