Position Overview:
Hire Priority is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the on-site maintenance of all facilities located within a specific apartment housing community, as well as providing occasional coverage at other apartment sites when needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in apartment maintenance with a strong background in carpentry and/or building upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regular on-site maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, landscaping, and other necessary tasks.
- Provide occasional coverage at other apartment sites when needed.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures outlined by the community and company policies.
- Keep a positive and professional environment for all members and guests of the apartment community.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures outlined in the safety policy manual and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Required Skills:
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
- Strong carpentry skills and experience with apartment building maintenance.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with and without supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be available to work on overtime whenever needed.
- Own standard issue vehicle (ignoring Uber or Lyft for now) used for commute.)
- Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. (Covid-19 considerations).
